In 2024, deadmau5 and Soundscape produced the first Level 4 Metaverse Concert, a watershed moment in the history of immersive entertainment. Level 4 represents the threshold where imitation of reality dissolves into simulation of reality across a full-length concert. Real-time lighting & shadows, colossal full-body avatars, and epic open-world production converged inside the largest music venue ever built. Audio, video, animation, lighting, lasers, pyrotechnics, and soundskins merged into an experience that shattered every expectation of what a concert could be. For this performance, Soundscape has been recognized with three World VR Award nominations and the award for XR Rising Company of the Year.
